About the Student Academic Club

Want to discuss the popularity of vampires in contemporary cinema and its causes? Want to practice your English in an informal environment? 

Our club aims to boost students' interest in Anglophone cultures, while fostering cooperative spirit beyond the narrow confines of individual academic disciplines. The ideal outcome would, therefore, include enhancing MUP's academic community as well as facilitating informal contacts among students and instructors. Club meetings will take place approximately twice a month, and will focus on topics prepared beforehand (see schedule below), such as the image of immigration and immigrants in British cinema. Film excerpts will be followed by a discussion based on specific questions.
