PhDr. Degree at MUP
Metropolitan University Prague, o.p.s. was accredited to confer PhDr. degrees by the means of the so-called rigorosum (Czech "small" doctorate rigorous examination) to the graduates of the International Relations and European Studies Masters programmes in Czech and in English, and to the students of the International Relations and European Studies PhD. Programme conducted at MUP in cooperation with the Institute of International Relations, v.v.i.
Along with the introduction of the rigorosum, MUP internal regulations (MUP Statute) were modified and new Rigorosum Rules were established. There will be two examination dates for the rigorosum in an academic year. For the 2009/2010 academic year, the following dates have been approved: April 2010 for students who submit their application by 30 June 2009, and November 2010 for students who submit their application by 31 January 2010.
The fee for the rigorosum is CZK 35.000,-.
The administrative fee for submitting an application is CZK 500,-.
