Visegrád Group and the Central European Cooperation

The main goal of the project that is implemented with the support of International Visegrád Fund (IVF), is to strengthen the knowledge of students within the M.A. Programme „Political Science“ at the Metropolitan University Prague, and interested students from related study programmes such as International Relations and European Studies and Humanities. The M.A. Programme in Politics at the MUP was established in 2010 and since the very beginning the curricula strongly focus on Central European Politics, mainly on domestic politics and comparative analysis of political institutions such as constitutions, political actors, governments and government coalitions, political culture etc.

Raising Awareness about the Value of Intellectual Property in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

The general aim of the project is to raise awareness about all kinds of Intellectual Property (IP) in the Czech Republic and Slovakia and to familiarise citizens with all related topics. The aim of the project is to inform the public in the two mentioned states about the dangers of counterfeiting and piracy and the impact of intellectual property on our everyday lives.

Innovation of Media Studies Program at Metropolitan University Prague: Norwegian Inspiration

The project aims to upgrade the study program of Media Studies at the Metropolitan University in Prague (bachelor's and master's degree) on the basis of Norwegian inspiration and of the subsequent expansion of courses taught in English at MUP. Emphasis will be placed on a knowledge increasing of the courses focused on cultural dimension of media communication, applied to media studies and to the development of general journalistic skills.

THE TRANSITION OF PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED GRADUATES TO THE LABOUR MARKET

The transition of physically handicapped graduates to the labour market (NF-CZ07-ICP-1-039-2014) which is supported through the Norwegian Financial Mechanism („Program CZ07“) is realized by Metropolitan University Prague (MUP) in collaboration with The Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The main topic of the project is focused on sharing experience of handicapped graduates´ transition to the labour market and present condition in this area.
