CERERIS - Center for Research on Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Systems
CERERIS is a scientific research center in psychology dedicated to studying emotion regulation and interpersonal relationships within dynamic social systems, as well as disseminating disciplinary knowledge to the professional community. The center systematically integrates basic research, methodological innovation, and applied relevance to identify, interpret, and predict human experience and behavior in interpersonal contexts. The mission of CERERIS is to advance knowledge of emotion regulation and interpersonal processes through collaboration among academics, students, and practitioners, grounded in contemporary theoretical frameworks. In the spirit of “good work,” the center seeks to translate research insights into applied domains of psychological science.
CERERIS began its activities in March 2026.
At CERERIS, we pursue the following objectives:
- To advance the study of emotion regulation and interpersonal relationships within dynamic social systems, aiming to understand, explain, and predict individual experience and behavior.
- To support students in individual and team-based research activities, and to provide expert guidance in translating disciplinary knowledge and research findings into applied contexts.
- To foster the active integration of the MUP academic community into national and international academic structures and research networks in psychological science.
- To provide methodological, organizational, and publication-related support for research activities conducted within the thematic scope of the center, funded through institutional resources and external grant schemes.
- To ensure appropriate spatial and technological infrastructure for research carried out by members of the academic community and students affiliated with the Department of Psychology at MUP.
