10/05/2016 - Latinos in the U.S. – Culture and Language

Iberoamerican Centre of the Metropolitan University Prague, El Instituto Cervantes in Prague, The Embassy of Mexico and The Embassy of the United States of America in the Czech Republic cordially invite you to LATINO AMERICANS – Latinos in the United States of America.

Today, the cultural, political, and social importance of the U.S. population of Latin American descent is evident across the United States of America. Latinos have helped shape North America over the last 500 years. Today, counting 50 million, Latinos have become the largest minority group in the U.S. Their vote was decisive for Barack Obama’s victory in the U.S. presidential elections. The Latino electorate will again be crucial in deciding the presidential race in 2016.
