The Laboratory

The laboratory serves as the spatial and technical infrastructure of CERERIS. It consists of two rooms located on the 13th floor of a building used by Metropolitan University Prague at Jarov.

One room is designated as a workspace for the CERERIS team and for students from the MUP Department of Psychology conducting research. In addition to standard office equipment, the room includes computers for data processing and serves as storage for the center’s equipment.

The second room is the laboratory itself, featuring a flexible spatial arrangement. The room allows regulation of lighting in both intensity and color. It is soundproofed and can be completely darkened. The laboratory is also equipped with technology for large-format stimulus presentation.

The laboratory equipment has been gradually developed since the center launched in March 2026. It includes, for example, physical versions of selected psychodiagnostic tests and methods, software for online administration of questionnaire-based methods, and software for the analysis of emotional expression. A camera for recording interactions is also available.
