Mgr. Aneta Kulhánková
Security relations, energy security, and terrorism in the Middle East
Aneta Kulhánková holds a master's degree in International Relations and European Studies from Metropolitan University Prague. In her research and doctoral studies, she specializes in security relations in the Middle East, focusing on the role and activities of state and non-state actors (particularly Israel, USA, Iran, and Hezbollah) in Syria and Lebanon. Within the Centre for European Energy Policy and Security, she analyzes the relationship of both states and terrorist organizations to the energy sector in the Middle East, as well as the associated threats to regional and international security.

Mgr. Kateřina Králová
Security and conflicts in Sub-Saharan Africa, resource wars, EU–Africa relations
Kateřina Králová is a graduate of the Master’s programme in International Relations, with a specialization in European Studies, at Metropolitan University Prague, where she is currently pursuing a PhD at the Department of International Relations and European Studies. Her academic interests focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly armed conflicts, security issues, resource wars, and EU–Africa relations. In her free time, she is involved in local politics and cooperation with municipal authorities.
