Enhancing proficiency of insolvency practitioners in applying EU law and fostering trust and understanding of European judicial culture via participatory training approach and blended learning (InsolEuPro)

The objective of this project is to support targeted trainings of insolvency practitioners on EU law implementation in practice, make them aware of the possibilities EU law offers and trust each other to make cross-border insolvency and pre-insolvency proceedings more efficient. Project aims at development and delivery of innovative blended training courses tailored to the specific needs of insolvency practitioners and the need of each EU Member State to have highly qualified community of insolvency practitioners which are able to contribute to the effective implementation of EU law in insolvency area. Part of the trainings: modern and interactive e-learning capsule modules in English will be open for the whole community of insolvency practitioners in Europe. Participation will be ensured via intended publishing in European E-Justice portal. After that the trainings will be adapted to each partner countries specific needs. The focus of highly interactive blended training courses will be on how to solve practical situations arising in areas of insolvency practitioners work impacted by EU law, esp. the new Restructuring directive (10 training modules) and 5 capsule training modules on data protection, digital tools for practice and communication between insolvency practitioners from various EU members states. The trust of national insolvency practitioners in EU law and collaboration with the partners from other EU countries will be strengthened via common e-workshops focused on solution of practical cases arising in context of cross-border situations (participatory training approach). The project will be based on close partnership between academia, state institutions acting in the area of insolvency policy formation, supervision of insolvency practitioners profession and quality of their trainings and insolvency practitioners themselves from 3 countries: Lithuania, Czech Republic and Latvia.
